I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-2005 and obtained the rank of sergeant. I received my Associate's Degree in Information Technology in May 2005 from Central Texas College. Just a year later I received my Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University. In May 2013, I received a double Masters in Educational Leadership and School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Sonny, who proudly served in the Navy. We have three children. Brittany and her husband Dustin, who recently fulfilled their obligation to the United States Air Force. We have two awesome grandchildren that we love to the moon and back. They all live in Colorado. Alex and Lewis live here in Texas and work full-time for a fire and water restoration company. Lewis is engaged to a wonderful young lady. I love my family dearly and love helping other families reach their full potential.
